HMP Lancaster Custom Container - November 2007

Area restrictions and a very low noise specification forced our engineers to design this custom container for a 640kVA generator. With only 1,200mm available around the container, this forced us to move the noise attenuation to the roof and direct the air flow up and over so as to keep the length to a minimum.

ADE at AMPS Expo - London Olympia - October 2007

During the two day event in London a contingent of ADE sales and project engineers were on hand to offer valuable advice on the sale, manufacture and installation of diesel generators. The event proved very successful and many leads are now being turned into sales and projects, many thanks to those who expressed an interest in our products and services.

Last year we supplied 3 x 1250kVA Containerised units complete with a 6000A combined Automatic Synchronising Panel and Switchboard. These were exported to Ghana for use at the Kore Bu Teaching Hospital. The commissioning of the entire system was completed in time for the opening ceremony which was covered by Ghanian national TV and news.

ADE Helicopter Delivers Urgent Parts - August 2007

On 14th August at 4.30 in the afternoon ADE received a call from a concerned BT development site in East Anglia. During the final testing and comissioning of a 500kVA generator it became apparent that the ECU (Engine Control Unit) had failed. Time was running out and the only option was to replace the ECU. One hour later the ECU was delivered to site and the generator system was running again by mid evening.
