Bespoke 4-Section Switchgear Housing for a Refinery
This 33-metre long, 7-metre wide Advanced designed & built Bespoke Switchgear Housing was manufactured, transported & installed in 4 sections due to its size. The Switchroom will act as the power distribution centre for a combined heat and power generation plant located at one of the top refineries in Western Europe.
The internals were intensively fitted out with 33 kV high voltage switchgear and control equipment, complete internal interconnection power and control cabling at our works prior to delivery.
Other services provided include domestic electrical systems, emergency lighting systems, and a full heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
The unit was installed on-site on a 3-metre substructure which was also provided and installed by Advanced.
